Building of former girls' lyceum

The building was projected by the famous Czech architect Jan Vejrych. It was built in 1898 as a gift from the town savings bank. Today the school is a part of an educational workshop complex. There is a bust of Josef Hanuš, a Czech scientist in the field of food and analytic chemistry. Up to the present day extraordinary scientists are awarded with a medal bearing his name.
