Winter walk with a sled

You can start this walk at Vrchlabi’s square. This walk will take you across the castle’s park, around the graveyard and all the way to the monastery. When reaching this point follow the Graveyard street (Hřbitovní ulice) up to the bridge. After crossing it walk up the hill to St. Ann’s Chapel. Here you will be rewarded with a beautiful view towards Vrchlabi and the region bellow Giant Mountains. From here follow the trail towards Knezicka chalupa (Knezicka cottage) the goal of this walk, where you can catch your breath and have some rest before you return to Vrchlabi.

On your way back follow the trail from Knezicka chalupa (Knezicka cottage) to St. Ann’s Chapel. At this point you can hop on your sled and go down the hill all the way to the bridge. From here you can either walk back down the Graveyard street (Hřbitovní ulice) to the monastery or you can slide down on your sled as this road is seldom in use.
