Socha sv. Michaela

Michael the Archangel is according to a legend the leader of heavenly forces whose front he fought with Lucifer himself. He is being most frequently pictured as a knight with a sword or a spear. He is portrayed as a winner here in a fight with the devil. His intercession protecs against all snares of evil and against whims of weather.
The baroque statue is the work of an unknown folk artist. It’s origin is on the foundation stone dated to 1713. First renovation work was carried out by J.Kraus in 1873. Second renovation, due to signes of bitter mountain weather fated and damage statue, was done by Jiri Kaspar in 2003. The statue belongs to the protected cultural heritage.
