Hotel Alfonska

Alfonska mountain chalet *** (670 m above sea level) is situated in Krkonose Mts. in the foothill of Zaly (1015 m above sea level) in a small village of Benecko. Alfonska is also in a close proximity of several ski lifts that provide artificial snow and illumination for evening skiing. Alfonska is with its location 100m from the public outdoor pool, 15m from the bus stop (direct bus line Prague - Benecko) and with a wide sport and entertainment (included outdoor pool) suitable not only for family holidays, children camps and schools in nature, winter skiing course but also for variaty of company events. New four-seated chair lift will be in operation in winter season 2006/2007. Its lower station will be right beside chalet Alfonska.

Benecko is well known for the most sunny days in a year and for the cleanest air. It is an ideal starting place to go in all directions for summer hiking and biking. In winter you can use groomed cross-country skiing trails that lead to close winter ski resorts (Spindleruv Mlyn, Horni Misecky) and also to the mountain tops of Krkonose Mts.

Mountain chalet Alfonska was completely reconstructed in 2005. It offers 31 rooms with privat social facilities (SAT-TV on reguest). Guests may choose from 16 double rooms (1 for disabled), 3 three bedded rooms, 11 four bedded rooms and 1 five bedded rooms.

Restaurant is devided into 3 rooms where one is used as a common room and the other as a bar and a dinning room/restaurant. Spacious bar and seating by the fire place will help to relax your tired muscles after the mountain tours or from other sport activities and help to prepare the body for a next day. Storage room for skies/mountain bikes is also part of the chalet.

Alfonska usually offers stays with half-board, for bigger school events with full-board, otherwise guests may order meals during the whole day from our menu. Breakfast is served in form of hot/cold buffet.
