Labská soutěska

This protected region of the Labe's riverbed south from Predni Labska, starts near Kukacka. Within a section of 3 km in lenght the river Labe creates multiple currents, rapids and pools. Due to the extreme slope of the narrow channel, numerous remarkable penomenons, such as giant pots and evorsions originated here which are unique in the whole of the Giant Mountains. The nearby dam called Labska allows for whitewater races in this section of the river Labe.
