Studenec is a lovely village close to the Krkonoše Mountains. Between its two parts - Studenec and Zálesní Lhota - stretches Strážník hill (630 m). Immediate surroundings is suitable for pleasant and peaceful summer and winter holidays. Studenec is also within easy reach of the mountain tourist centres. We are looking forward to your visit!
History: Studenec is first mentioned at the end of the 14th century. Subsequently several farmyards were established in the village area, and joined no earlier than in the 18th century. A larger development was seen in the 19th century in connection with the rise of domestic textile production, for which Studenec was named as the “weavers’ village”. The firm Fejfar and Mladek was established here at the beginning of the 20th century, one of the most important textile companies in the 1st Republic.
