Dolní Dvůr is a small mountain village situated in the valley of the Klinovy and the Kotelsky creeks right at their confluence from where the Male Labe river originates. The village has various typical examples of folksy architecture and makes an ideal starting point for challenging mountain ridge hiking tours - for example to Lisci hora (Fox Mountain) and Zadni Planina.

History:
The first reference to the settlement is dated back to the 16th Century. In the Middle Ages people were mining gold, silver and iron ore. From the 17th Century until the beginning of the 19th Century there were many ore furnaces and forge mills active. The most precious cultural sight is the St. Joseph Church from the beginning of the 19th Century which in 1995 received chimes for its tower.
